Taco John's stuffs them in their burritos and they're awesome in tacos too!

 

I've had them in burritos before just never on tacos. I need to give that a go!

 

They were Crispy Crowns and while I might have called them tacos, I always roll them like a burrito. Makes for easier eating.

And all 5 or 6 Taco John's in town closed last week so I need to get my Ole fix somewhere!

 

250 for 5 hours. Perfect. This Traeger thing is too easy. Everybody is going to be a pitmaster now.

 

Lunch today, sometimes you just have to give in...

 

I keep seeing paper plate commercials on TV and wondering who's using them in their own house.

 

Shit.. I use paper plates all the time!

Taco Tuesday. Steamed corn tortillas. A smattering of refried beans. Carne Asada cooked in jalapeno, beer and fire roasted tomato in my special Pandemic spice blend.(perfected over 2 years) Cilantro, tomato and avocado with Melinda's ghost pepper sauce. pew-pew!

 

Careful now - you'll get some old timers who have an aneurysm if you claim to be a "smoker" or "pit boss" using a pellet pooper like that. I listen to it both when smoking meats and when I do amateur radio stuff. I didn't need to know (and still don't know!) any morse code ("CW") for my licensing test. Some of the old timers are suuuuuuper grumpy about that, or the use of baofengs in "their" hobby.




I'm jealous of the pellet poopers but I don't think I would use them enough or have the level of care to keep it covered/cleaned/etc every use to justify the cost of them. But that looks delicious
