    Hey friends !
Just changed PS,Alt,and AC belts. Would that have anything to do with a check engine light ?
did do I something wrong ?
Got over 200k, and I've never had a check engine light go on in any of my Yotas.
Although I know it can happen.....

Did you run the code? If so, what is it?

Belts wouldn't do it (that I know of.) Hook up the OBD meter and look for codes. Most likely it will be something emissions related. Right after I bought mine it came on and it was one of the O2 sensors, changed them both and voila.

It could also be the fuel cap is loose/leaking, I had a Nissan that did this. Re-tighten and drove for 20 miles and it went away.

Remains to be seen I bought the tires and wheels the rest came along
Maybe you hit the cam or crank sensors plugs when working on the belts.

they get ever so brittle with age.

Did you disconnected anything while changing the belts?

Yes indeed what is the code?

    Unlikely, but possible.
Pull the codes and report back to us.
We can help you further after you do this:thumbsup:

Yeah, I have not run the code yet.
I just wanted to see what you guys had experience with I'm not too tech savvy, but my buddy with the computer is going to look at it.
No I didn't unplug anything, I loosened the dipstick mounting bracket that's about it.
