Cheap rear LED lights - Not a recommendation

Hi all,
Just wanted to share my experience with cheap LED rear lights.
I wanted to replace my OEM rear lights because I dislike the chrome parts.
Buying one of the well known brands (Alpharex etc) was out of the question since I live abroad and the cost of shipping+tax doubles the total cost of the lights, so +/-400usd lights becomes +/-800usd.
I found cheap LED lights at ALIEXPRESS. Total cost was 120-usd so I figured it's worth a try. Sometimes products from China are rubbish, but sometimes they are great quality and VFM.
I got these lights and installed them. I liked the design and it seems build quality is OK.
After installing them I found the light output is very weak. In fact, it is so weak other drivers don't see me at night, and think I'm driving without lights!
You can see in the photo my BMW regular lights on the left, compared to the LED Tacoma lights on the right. As you can see, the light output of the LED are absolutely rubbish.


I have contacted the seller but he offered no help. All he said was the lights are similar to the photos.

I would not buy these lights or anything else from this seller to be honest.
Sometimes you buy cheap stuff and it turns out to be great value. This is not the case here

Anyways, thought I would share this with you, in case you are looking and thinking about taking this route.
