I solidly get 225 miles per tank. Before TW I could get over 300. Absolutely worth it

I spent most of the day running new wiring for the dsp add on.
got the passengers side wired for the most part.
Running the wire through the front door grommet was pretty easy. A little silicone spray and the new wiring slipped right through.
The rear door was a PITA.
trying to run 10 gage wire through, with the little connector right in the way didn't help. It pulled the connector into the small rubber grommet and spent 30 mins trying to work it back out.
truck is all in pieces on the interior now, and just gonna leave it and start again tomorrow.
Figure I can get both wire runs made, then probably another half day to wire everything so there's no strain or rubbing.PXL_20230622_190809823.jpg

I was motivated by these posts to modify the stock box a little. It's now a TRD 0.5 box. Cut the vacuum cleaner end off the intake tube and added a little extra weather stripping.
The only difference I see now is a slightly bigger box but the thinner plastic will allow more heat through.
The resonator box isn't only to quiet it down it helps absorb any back pressure. That makes me think the stock box and TRD will perform better than say a k&n (ducks from getting something thrown at him)

Lifted 3 in. New tired 285/75/16 wheel spacers 2.5.
Hey guys, I have a 2022 SR5 2WD. I pretty much lifted 3 inches with 1.5 inch spacers and changed the tires to Yokohama AT 275/80/17 (I believe). Pending to change headlights, bumper, rear taillights, rear bumper.

Also, I would like to know if there is a forum or if someone know when you gas up 3/4, 1/2 tank your MPG resets automatically after start up.

I just went to The Metal Company here in Arvada, CO (ironic they do plastic potable water tanks for RVs) and the dude spun this in quicker than I could go to the front desk, pay, and come back. Now I have a 1/2" raised breather port up top with a screw-in cap for $17.24

I spent the last few days chrome deleting my cab. I had bought these cheap vent ring covers on Amazon but within a few weeks they discolored and the ones closest to the doors turned copper.

    IMG_1983.HEIC.jpg

The vendor on Amazon gave me a full refund so I went ahead and painted them Satin Black. I did the same with my 4x4 button. Took the chrome ring out, sanded it and painted it the same color.

Did you flip the bar under the passenger seat or did you get seat jackers? Last time I tried to put a amp under the passenger side it wouldnt fit.

    Enough for now
Tail light covers, of course I found the instructions AFTER I was done and tossing out the box. I’ll leave them on for a few weeks and see how I like them. I’ve got the total tail stage 1 and if the covers really dampen it I’ll take them off.

Have also been using my brush guards quite a bit through the national and state parks here.
