The reactions I get are kind of devided, most people under 40 don't pay any attention.

The 40 and up folks have fond recollections of parents or grandparents cars.

    I'd think that was a fair trade...though I've got a soft spot for the '53-'56 F100's.

Maybe all you need is a new head, the spools wear out eventually.

It's the money you make after you retire. The earned income is not counted against you till after you retire. I waited until I turned 66 because the hit wasn't that bad for the 6 months now Jan 1 I can earn as much as I can and still keep full ssi

    Good morning all! Happy Friday!
Going to see our grandson, should be a lot of fun.
We've been threatened with rain for the last couple days and got about a tenth of an inch. It's dry here and could use a good half inch or so. Haven't mowed in almost 2 weeks. Since we started buying water from Fargo and shut our water treatment plant [West Fargo] our water bills have doubled and since we send our sewage there to, every gallon is charged charged enen though it's going on the lawn. We watered 2 years ago for that green lawn $170 a month isn't on the table. I can let it set at the height it is and so doesn't go dormant I can water it a little every 2 weeks. right after I mow and stay below that $100 mark.

Good morning. I start aquatic therapy today, should be an interesting session. Off to the gym then back home to a few projects. Wifes car is in the shop for an oil change and tire rotation plus having the shop look at a slow leak n one of the wheel assemblies.

Good morning fellow Porchatonians!! I decided to go back to bed after walking/feeding the dogs at 4:30, then took the truck in to get serviced.

Yup, rainy weather here in PA for the weekend, unfortunately.

Didn't need to hear that Mark, we are planning on heading up for a short weekend first thing Saturday morning :(. Hope it isn't a steady rain. Have a good day.

I love our "last to bloom" Crepe Myrtle, but when I mow under it, I become a sweaty Yeti!

    20230623_115144.jpg

And to think so many of those blooms covered the yard after Wednesdays storm.

Wish we could share weather on alternating days or something like that...
