Not bad, IW Harper 15 Year is way better though, $15-20 less too.

I’m curious on this as well. Saw it at the TW in Denver and it’s one I don’t see where I live. @SwampYota

you could spend $100 on 10 different bottles to try them all, and the countless hours of tracking them down. Or spend 135…it’s for 4 roses fans obviously.

not my thing but still nice to be offered

I haven’t had any in while and it made eye contact with me. Always an enjoyable pour. Cheers.

I went back to TW tonight in Denver and picked up this bottle. It’s the 51% corn and 44% malted barley bottle I asked about. It’s different than what I normally drink, but it’s not bad. To me, It’s got that scotch vibe but no peat. I missed the tasting day they had yesterday, and if I would have tasted this, I probably would have passed because it’s just not the flavor profile I go after, but that’s ok. Good to try new things.

And…of course, served in nothing but the finest Towne Place Suites Coffee mug :)

Some high west double rye earlier tonight at dinner and then some eagle rare as I finish a small kitchen project.

Poking around a handful of wine and spirits stores in southern France. Came across Eagle Rare twice and Blanton’s once. Approximate USD prices would be $65 and $120 respectively.

France is much more interested in Japanese whiskey than American, based on the selection.

In Paris now and hoping to run across something unusual.

Cracked this open after a week on the road with my son for baseball. A bit of a celebration drink for me, getting to watch my 18yo kiddo and his baseball team qualify for the 2023 Connie Mack World Series!

This is a really nice bottle!

Well damn Heaven Hill said they were going to send a check to cover the moldy bottle of Elijah Craig rye, but here I am a month later empty handed.
