IF I was limited to my same current income, and IF I didn't have a new car payment for my wife's Highlander - and I had a legitimate NEED to replace my current Tacoma, I would get another Dodge Cummins. However, if I do at some point need to replace my current Tacoma WHILE still paying off my wife's Highlander, I would not hesitate to get another Tacoma. Those are the only trucks I would own - a Cummins, or a Tacoma.

Something old, solid axle, something big, V8 and purely mechanical. Old Chevy Blazers have been catching my eye as of late.

A Rav4 Prime. I miss my Chevy volt and could use the Rav4 to tow a small utility trailer to do truck stuff

If money was no object, maybe a R1T in a few more years after some tech has been refined. Otherwise, something full size probably. The current Tundra has grown on me a lot since they came out and I got to test drive one for a few days.

I also lean toward something with a V8 for the sound and theoretical reliability.
