Just swooped up my first motorcycle in 15 years! ‘23 CRF450RL. Let the mods begin

 

is the trailer reliable for long trips, let say from NY to AZ?

 

Just a little KLX 300, that's all.
My other dream bikes are : Honda CB 750four, any year, Yamaha Endura XT 250 , Kawasaki KZ900, for now!

 

i've only driven it about 200 miles and empty but it was smooth and steady. planning on 800 miles this summer.

the company that made this one is no longer there, but either the kenda's or towsmart (alpha) ones are very similar. be aware though, theres a fake company out there with a "towdolly" website thats a scam. uses paypal for card payments, but you cant log into your paypal and use that so it never shows on your account for you to raise a dispute on, then they call you to confirm and nothing happens. my amex refunded me in full.

 

Picked up a 2015 R6 from the original owner Saturday. Has 2800 miles on it, he crashed it in track fairings and never fixed it. Think i got a sweet deal on it, bike has nice basic mods, low miles, it literally only need track fairings and it will be 100%. Body, metals, forks etc. all incredibly clean. Seems to fit better than the smaller gsxr.

My 2021 Honda Rebel 1100. Not as fast as my old vmax but handles better than any cruiser I've ever ridden.

Just picked a 2005 Yamaha Vmax 20th Anniversary Edition. 34,000km. Excellent condition other than the usual pitting on the scoops. I'm stoked!

 

Picked up a "custom" 2001 Dyna Wide Glide about a month ago. 25k on the odometer, been sitting garaged since 2014. Got it for a steal, tank liner was dissolved, carb was shot, covered in garage dust, needs a new seat. Flushed the tank, knocked the rest of the liner out of it, rebuilt the carb, changed all the fluids, bled the brakes, fixed some wiring and she runs great!
new seat will be here Wednesday. Managed to put a whopping 20 miles on it since it's been running, life and the weather keep getting in the way. Found out the previous owner passed away in a car accident, but he had the cam's upgraded to gear drive and had a bunch of work done to it before he left us.
Waxed it up and reconditioned the bags, looks pretty good for 22 years old.

 

we have not been in Shenandoah for years. Do bears still pass by, or not anymore?

 

Friend of mine has been busy with his first kid and dropped off his bike to me to ride. So I guess I have a Tuono 1100 now? I had a 2012 Rsv4 factory a few years ago, so should be familiar
