Hey guys, just looking for some examples of what you use to mount your handheld radios or even the radio bodies themselves. I know I could just use screws and do something permanent, but I don't like putting holes in stuff unless I have to.

I've tried the 3M that came on the back of the handheld mount, some ACE brand mounting tape I had lying around, as well as some LLPT tape since it did so well in Project Farm's video, but none of them held up the handheld for more than 10 minutes. What mounting tape have you guys had the best luck with?

    Working with a Midland MX275:

Forgot to mention, I also tried velcro command strips, but the adhesive wasn't good enough.

the 3m extreme tape, or 3m molding tape(same stuff, molding tape just comes in different widths) always works best for me.

I tried a few different mounting tapes, velcros etc trying to accomplish the same exact task. They all failed, maybe not at first but give it a day or two and eventually they will let go.

I had the same issues, tired double sided gorilla tape and it worked for a while then fell off. I saw one in Taco Garage radio mic mounts w/ 1" ball adapter that I'm looking at.
