Hot Wheels

I've been wanting an the Hot Wheels Mercedes 560 SEC, but couldn't find it for the life of me. I finally found it in a retro game store of all places. Though paying $2 for a mainline hurts a bit. But it sure beats scalpers.

 

I roadtripped alot of Route 66. Started on California to home (michigan). Drove almost 3,000 miles across 8 days and here are my finds: (disclaimer I only looked at places we were already stoping.)

 

All these years I thought they were both from 1995. The Seattle toy show ones had the red exhaust.

 

Definitely cool!

 

All 1/64s with wheel swaps. Tried to strip decals on Celica but couldn't get it out of the door jams (yet). I like the cleaner look. KiloCharlie will like the square bodies. I collect them a well. The F100 lost its side mirror before the shoot but has since found its way back to where it belongs. the shoot but has since found its way back to where it belongs.

I loathe to be "that guy" but I went through my old tub of Hot Wheels / Matchbox / Majorette / Misc and started chucking the really bad ones and separated out the sentimental ones I want/need to keep as well as the unloved decent ones and have a few grouped together to toss up on eBay. However, I have a large contingent of Hot Wheels and Matchbox that I don't know what to do with. Would anyone here be interested in either lot?



If you average it to about $1.50 a car, $35 for the Hot Wheels plus ship or $24 for the Matchbox plus ship, $50 plus ship for the whole lot? Box would be 14 x 6 x 7, shipped USPS. I can snap pics of any individual car if anyone is interested. If not, I'll list the lots on Ebay with starting bids about what I show.

The auctions I'll be putting up tomorrow will be the following, with a $9.99 starting bid plus USPS Small Flat Rate Box shipping if anyone is interested in grabbing them before I make the auction.

In the first picture, second row from the top, the two cars green and red with the stripes, are those the snake and mongoose drag cars?

 

Yep, the mid-90s re-issue. The original mid-90s re-issue Deora is in there too. I have the Nomad and the Mustang as well but I don't see myself selling them.
