All they make is a PHEV Outlander. They don't even have dealerships anymore. Are they comparing cab-over box vans?

They still have Outlander, Outlander Sport, and two different versions of the Mirage. The amount of vehicles sold probably have something to do with the customer ratings. Dodge/Ram trucks and Chevy are at the top. Kia also out ranked Lexus, and Volvo took last place.

It’s worthless to read jd powers anymore.

We have lots of issues with the new tundra but I rarely make warranty claims during my work week.

Supposedly customer feed back is where the rankings come from. Chevy and Dodge buyers must really like their Caravans and Tahoes. Ford did so bad they laid off executives. That was to cut costs the same week Ford got a $9B energy dept loan.

I will agree that the initial quality of all of my Ram trucks has exceeded that of all of my Toyota trucks. Better fit and finish coupled with a more high tech interior design go a long way with “initial quality” since no manufacturers really have actually quality problems these days.

customer feedback from the honeymoon period

we were spending 10 billion a month in Iraq between 2003 and 2010. At least Ford might do something useful with that money, like develop some battery tech.

All the US military was doing was putting holes in the desert and then paying Dick Cheney to fill them back in

Ford does produce a lot of commercial vehicles that could potentially benefit from larger capacity battery technology.

JD Power is about as useful as Amazon product ratings.

JD Power is a scam. You pay money to them to get the best review.

JDP needs to put down the crack pipe. Mitsu is owned by Nissan, who is owned by the French. Nissan's quality took a nose dive when they were purchased. They need to get out from under the French's ownership and return to building quality automobiles. Then I'll take a look at Mitsu...well, once they start building a car I would want to buy.

    Ugh, another consumer ranking thread.

I'd rather have an oil change debate than slog through another one of these.

I'd take an Isuzu over a Mitsubishi of today. [They actually made GREAT small cars in the 80's and early 90's] Of course I'd choose Isuzu simply because I think the Joe Isuzu commercials were the best running gag commercials of all time when it came to vehicles.
