    I know this has been hashed before but lets hear from you again. 2012 4cly, Tacoma, manual says 6.1 gts.,
    my dipstick shows 1 qt too much with this amount. Dealer now told me to use 5 and one half qts. Does anyone really Know?

    Oil level specs in the manual are approximate, just go by the dipstick

    I put 5 in, run it briefly, let settle, then top off to the full mark. Right around 5 and a half as stated.
