Hey, you guys that have done it, which primer did you use? I decided on Raptor, conventional paint and clearcoat is outrageous, plus I aint exacly a pro. The videos on YouTube make it look pretty easy.... They used a variety of primers, need to choose one. thanks

By the way, its gonna look really sharp since I changed out the rotted chrome bumper ends finally :anonymous: which , if you haven't, is a real joy. Good times I had during that four hours. The engineer that designed that stupid bumper, with all those little brackets... evil. have spares on hand. screws too.

I used the u-pol (same brand as Raptor) epoxy primer. Has held very well so far for the Raptor but the surface underneath needs to be fully sanded or it will start to chip

Here’s my feedback after speaking to a Raptor Liner technical rep:

Good lord…that was 11 years ago? Where does the time go. I feel so old.

Oh, and I would paint when it's on the colder side. I had to redo my bed around the wheel wells because the liner shrank and lifted, so I assume it's best to spray when it's cold so it's "pre-contracted" and will mainly expand
