i have a spacer that makes me lifted 3 inches. i bought it with my truck. it’s a pain in the ass and rides bad so i’m going back to stock height. i’m on 285s right now going down to 265s. could i ride on my spacers with the significantly smaller tire and 16 in wheel instead of 17 in without issues or something expensive breaking? it’ll only be for 2-3 weeks while my 4600s come in

It should be fine as long as you don't have a TRD sport. The sport has larger brakes that don't fit with a 16" wheel

All you're doing is swapping from 17s with 285s to 16s with 265s? That ain't hurt anything as long as the wheels are hub centric

If you are also taking out the spacer then you might want to get an alignment

i’m swapping to 265 with the spacer for the 285 still on, for 3 weeks. i’m trading tires and that money from trading down tires is going to my suspension. but till it comes in i’ll be riding my spacers on the 265s, i’m wondering if running the spacer with 265s will hurt anything
