I have an enlarged professionally taken photograph of the real deal in the ‘70’s. My mom worked at Kodak and the rejected prints [cropped wrong usually] if she thought I’d like them she’d sneak them out. I was pre-teen and into cars and such. That is one of several cool ones I have. I also have a “Jungle Jim” ‘70 CUDA funny car print. I haven’t seen them in years and hope to locate them in one of my storage boxes.

As I was taking photos a guy walks by and says …”I can’t believe he parked that there”.

how did i miss this! my friend in high school his girlfriend, had one. her dad owned a huge nursery, and a guy owed him a bunch of money. one was included in the pay off.

before I knew what it was, he and her showed up one day in my driveway, I'm in the garage working on another project. she mentions her new convertible. my brain said she got a Miata... walk out the door and i hear my dad flipping out about a tiger in the yard. never in my life had i ever cared about my friends' girlfriends until that day. helped her finish it up and she got it painted bright red. looked so good.
