I’m replacing the lower ball joints and upper control arms with JBA how do I know if I need to lower control arm bushings? Truck did not wander when driveling but didn’t drive straight either but it was a consistent pull.

Remains to be seen I bought the tires and wheels the rest came along
If you have movement between the bolts and bushings when moving your control arms

With the truck sitting on flat ground take a look at the lower bushings. Are the cracked? Do the bolts line up with the center of the control arm? If the are cracked and or the control arm is sagging on the alignment bolts the bushings need replaced.

IMO, If u are already doing all of the other joints in the front end, do the lower as well. The lower is the most difficult to replace but then you will not need to disassemble and replace them at a later date.

Movement of the control arm up or down or side to side.

Not sure just what wobbly might mean.

You really can not tell by looking at the bushings .

Many cracked in exposed areas are fine.
