Upgraded fog lights to amber for $10. I went cheap to see if I even like the orange 1st before buying new lights.
Pretty good, thick, plyable and very adhesive film. If it lasts I might just leave it as is.

Nice, I put Laminix on my hatchback's fog's like 4 years ago. Still holding strong.

After I got all the bubbles out I used low heat to help form the edges and trimmed with a sharp xacto knife.
    It's on there good.

If you thought that was expensive and took forever you wouldn’t have been happy with the alternative.
Wooden crates and pallets are cargo shipments which incur additional freight charges and take even longer to arrive.
I’m sorry you had a bad experience and hope the vendor was able to appease you

Was thinking about doing the same thing with Lamin-X. Rarely drive at night, especially in the fog, but I just think amber fogs look good. Like that they could protect them from flying debris too.

If anyone else is about to order, here's a 15% off coupon code:

    SAVE15

I bought the pre-cut film since I'm not so good with tedious trimming. Coupon almost covered shipping. ;) Guess if you buy more than one thing you get free shipping.

I put the Lamin-x amber film, precut, on my '16 at least 5 years ago, still in place and looks great. I did because I didn't want the expense of new fogs, so far I'm happy.

I mostly just want it to get here in one piece and without damage. Thanks for your explaining crates/pallets and shipping.

Mostly electrical shit that nobody cares about.
Nope they were all tight like a tiger! And I saw no signs of blow-by on the coil packs, they were all clean.

And in this picture you see one of the cylinder #1 valves. Two were clean and the other two were filthy. Intake and exhaust, I assume. Quite a bit of crud in there but the valve seats looked shiny.

I've got KB Voodoo's Taco Max 10" rack with tonneau brackets. So I'm right around 12" from the bed sides to the top of my rack/brackets.

Someone here used a sheet of HDPE to make a tail gate protector, but I’m not sure of the thickness and dimensions he used..?

    So here is my issue.

I’m sitting at about 16inchs from bed to the bottom of the bracket, so in theory I need to raise the awning about 2 inches to give myself some extra room but… I don’t have any space to put spacers (though I’m not particularly fond of using spacers here anyways) and the rack rails cover 3-4inches of the extrusion bar so I’m not sure though brackets would work like I thought they would. So back to the drawing board i go.. I guess

I added a Pop & Lock tailgate lock for some added peace of mind. I still lock my gate when I'm not using it, but at least this will be something I don't have to worry about as much.

Did you make this rear bumper cage? I am immensely interested in it.

Didn't yours come with new brackets? Those look a little small.
