I like the setup Mark, but I think you need some Sumo springs or airbags to help support all that gear!

Yep. This was the initial run before any suspension work. Squat wasn’t too bad 3/4” but it porpoised on me through some road construction. Was looking at the RAS active suspension. Might be a good option but have an appointment next week with Gitts Spring before our next run.

Total weight of gear clothes and food was 500lbs
    Trailer is 2000 lbs
Tongue weight was right at 225 lbs

hey that wasnt an awful amount of load for the truck....

know its a small truck, but maybe a set of sway bars? the new ones dont just help with side to side, the way they load also helps with porpoising.

not the chain style... this style: https://www.amazon.com/Fastway-94-00-0800-Distribution-Standard-Included/dp/B0071L5VXW

theres a lot of different brands out, but they help up & down along with side to side.

We worked really hard over the years to find good quality lightweight gear. I was hoping to get a weight distribution hitch but they won’t work with the design of the trailer. Way home rode much better though. My wife…bless her heart…tried to be helpful and loaded several things to the trailer while I was at work. Coming home I rebalanced the load and took pictures for her to see how it all goes together.

    Afternoon all :hattip:

I hate this time of year once the humidity starts climbing . It's only 87 deg right now but the humidity is 46% . With all the meds I take daily and my current health im trying to keep up on my water intake I'm struggling right now

I was outside for about an hour working on my truck and I'm done !!! . I'm now back inside my house with the AC set at 72° on the couch trying to get hydrated

But I'm happy that I finally figured out the driveability problem with my Tacoma that I've been dealing with for almost two years now . Trying not to throw parts and alot of $$$$ at it hoping that would solve the problem . I had a brand new Toyota / Denso Maf sensor that I bought from a Toyota dealer five years ago sitting in my tool box . Removed the old sensor which was mfg by Cardone and immediately the truck idled and accelerated 100% better

I've replaced and cleaned numerous Cardone Mafs and never could get to idle better or improve the driveability
