DRL’s not working in daylight on Auto.

Hey guys, I recently installed a grille with drls that plug in with the headlight drl’s. Ever since I plugged them in, the headlight and grille drl’s do not run on auto at day, but they do at night on auto, parking light mode, and manual headlight mode. I’ve checked the fuses and they’re good, as well as the daylight sensor. Toyota dealership won’t take a look because headlights and grille are third party(morimoto and tacomabeast) They also said that drls don’t run on auto at daylight yet that just doesn’t make any sense because they were running the whole time before, and I mean, they’re day time running lights. Correct me if I’m wrong but they should be running in the daylight on auto, lol. Anything I should look for? Thanks everyone.

 

Would you clarify HOW you tied into the DRL circuit for both the Morimoto's and the grill lamps?
