2011 Tacoma - When I push the brake while driving, my back up camera comes on, shows the truck to be in reverse. In addition, I will have other warning lights come on like anti-lock brake light, engine warning light and anti-skid light. Truck runs fine, drive on with no die. I have looked over and over for a bad ground and bad wiring and can't find anything. I can not find where a ground is attached. I need some help. Thanks for any replies.

A bad ground would have been my first guess. You could try this. Find the ground wire in the tail lights. Run a long wire from battery negative to that wire, then put it in drive & step on the brake, see if anything changes. Occasionally I’ll see a burnt brake bulb cause some wonky symptoms. Try pulling the brake bulbs see if that changes anything, or new brake bulbs. I’ve seen on the brake bulb, the little tits melt & short. Or the bulb socket get covered with black carbon. You could also try unplugging the tail lights one at a time to try to isolate where the problem is.

Thanks to Washeem for his reply. It took some time but what I found was a left rear pigtail (wiring for the lights) that for some reason had gone bad and was creating feedback causing the problems I mentioned in the original thread. Thanks to Tacoma World for providing a site for discussions and for solutions.
