Hi All, I'm new here, Rick is the name. I'm the original owner of a 98 Tacoma 4X4 with 375, 000, the air bag light was flickering on & off at some point, its now on fulltime. I have a code reader for the modern vehicles, but not this year. I'm not sure if its a glitch or actual issue with air bag? Id like to hear how you fixed your situation. Thanks in advance!

UPDATE! 6/29/2023 My problem is fixed. it was the clock spring in the steering column. Thanks!

You'll need to pull the codes in the airbag module. With most readers you should be able to select the module. Mine was throwing a code that the airbag computer failed, new (used) computer fixed it up
