    AC Camber closed

Top of the flap drops down to reveal the AC Camber. The white levers control the opening and closing using the little motors.

Inside the AC Camber. The AC Drain is NE of the right bolt thing. It's just an open hole with the hose attached. If it isn't clogged, water just drains out due to gravity. There's nothing to stop it from draining.

Is this HVAC unit your showing in the pictures off of an earlier second gen?

I’m operating off the assumption that the HVAC unit had some kind of redesign at one point.

Based off of these photos and from what I’ve seen in my passenger footwell, where I have water dripping from appears to be connected to a different chamber than that of the evap drain.

Yeah, Mine is 2006. Obviously yours is a bit different. I don't think the design is that much different but I hear you, I can stop posting. I'm just trying to help.

Hopefully someone can chime in and give you guys the info you need.

In some cases the only solution is floor mats and live with it. AC’s and defrosters make water and it doesn’t always accumulate where it can drain outside the truck. If it’s leaking from a crack or parts joint you can try sealing it but it might never completely be eliminated.

South Florida 100% humidity 100% of the time. Same tube is dripping water. I run the AC and recycle air 99% of the time. I wonder if the fresh air mechanism isn't closing all the way causing extra moisture. Any thoughts? Anybody know where the mechanism is?

I agree, it doesn't seem normal to me either. However, there hasn't been a source determined nor a fix and mine hasn't done it in quite some time. I've moved on to worrying about bigger things like whether or not I'm getting another tri-fold tonneau cover or a cap...

This happens to mine. But no same situation. If I ever run it thru a car wash is when mine leaks in same exact spot. I still have no idea why

Next time check the cabin air filter immediately after the car wash. If it’s wet then water is getting past the coaming to the cabin air intake. If it’s dry then it’s somewhere else such as around the windshield or the wiper mounts. The blow dryers can force water to some abnormal locations.

Yeah I’m not convinced this is “normal” but I’d believe it’s common and for some, pretty benign. Not that much water. But I’ll be checking the filter for moisture next time we get some rain

Mine is open like that too. No idea why it would be leaking though. Mine has never leaked (to my knowledge) in 10 years of owning the truck.
