    Hi Gang!

The wife and I got our first Tacoma this May. She is the driver as I'm legally blind and no longer drive since 2017. She decided she wanted to go with a real 4x4 but wasn't comfortable behind the wheel of a Wrangler (I've owned two modded Wranglers she's driven briefly over the years) and the Tundra was too large for her to see comfortably over the hood (She's 5' tall) but she totally loved our 2021 Highlander, so when we were looking at lease upgrades, she landed on the Taco and immediately fell in love.

Since I can't see like I used to, she's going to learn to perform mechanical tasks and some mods on the Taco as I guide her through the learning process. I'm already building a short list of mods, and she's already installed our BAKFlip tonneau cover (with guidance) and is preparing to install the Toyota bed extender. The power tailgate lock is coming after that.

Anyways, that's enough rambling for now. The only thing I'm trying to line up for her is some kind of beginner 4 wheeling help/trails near NC, so I can show her the fundamentals of wheeling. Any info y'all may have is greatly appreciated!

    Cheers!
