It looks clean in pictures and is something you'd look over before buying.

That was alot to catch up on. I was 27 pages behind. Hate to say it as much as I love the ktm 890 duke r. I'm starting to think I should have gone with the adventure. Not much I can do about it now.

I ended up taking the add down. I'm going to throw on a set of Dunlop Sportmax Roadsport 2 tires and keep it in my collection. The odds of me being able to find another one in this condition is slim.

Ha! I’m getting older and respect the gear. but have been lazy a time or two for a quick ride.

I can still see the bolt head burn mark on the left side of my right knee. This was from wearing shorts 30 years ago. and laying my leg on the hot exhaust at a stoplight (DR250). Have not worn shorts on a bike since.

I don't have riding boots or pants either. I want boots, but don't really care about riding pants. It's the one place I'm skimping out of comfort.

Check out the Street and Steel Oakland riding jeans. I removed the bulky knee armor and now they feel as good as my Levi's. Can't even tell they are riding jeans.

Edit: if you're talking about offroad riding pants and boots, then I definitely recommend going with both over jeans and cowboy boots.

No dirt riding for me. I will go down a dirt road, but not interested in the dirt bike game.

When I was riding on my home from picking up lunch, a guy on a cruiser wearing a t-shirt and skull cap tried to pull out from a side street and stalled the bike about 4 feet into the roadway. He proceeded to use his legs to waddled the bike across the road into a parking lot of an abandoned gas station and started checking things over on his bike. I circled back around and stopped to see if he needed help. He said he was all good and just getting back to riding after over 30 years. I told him to be safe and drove off, but couldn't help wondering why he wasn't wearing proper gear. He hadn't even made it a 1000ft and was already in a sketchy situation. Hope he makes it back home in one piece today.
