Yup, it looks overcast like it’s gonna rain but it’s just smoke . I’ve been outside all day breathing it

Man I haven’t heard that in forever

 

I learned alot about shooting today, this is the first year I've fired striker fired pistols....I've learned:

1. I fucking suck. Pretty simple there.
2. No matter how great of a trigger a striker fired pistol has (I think the CZ is 4.5ish pounds) they still suck compared a double action revolver, or any gun with a decent trigger. I had horrible target panic today. My bow release has a trigger that's 10 times better than any of these guns. Not an excuse for me sucking so bad (because I do) it's just gonna take alot of getting use to. Which translates to more shooting time, I can live with that.
3. Being extremely left eye dominate yet also being right handed completely sucks; cant decide if I should shoot with my left eye, right eye, or just keep em both closed.
None of these are excuses for me just sucking in general tho, but I really want to get better. I'd settle for 'decent'.

I've killed running coyotes at close to 300 yards (twice) so I'm not a newb, but I sure feel like one.

So my buddy called today and asked if I wanted to bring the new pew pew and shoot. My response was.....
Its way too fucking hot.
I'm on my way.

We shot about 100 rounds thru my new gun before we melted (it was 102°) when we went out there, the CZ performed flawlessly. I did not.

Got my dad's hunting knife back in the mail from being restored. @Mark77 did a fantastic job bringing this relic back to life. Can't thank you enough. This knife sat in a tool box for probably the better part of 40 years. Handle was broken and held together with electrical tape. Blade was rusty and pitted. Now it's got a custom handle, blade probably better than when it was new. The pummel shiny and new looking. All of this work and still maintaining it's original look.
