I got my wife to sit down and watch all the videos with me this morning.

 

I showed the video of my going down that hill. Everything was fine until she saw my front skid hit a rock (barely). Now she thinks I’m overly hard on my truck. No more videos for her!

 

A lift and bigger tires would solve that problem.
It may create more problems.but worry about that later.

 

While I do like your thinking, I’m not sure that will work with her.

Just say, honey I think you getting shorter.

 

She’s only 5’ tall now… I can’t imagine her any shorter! Lol

 

Camping in Bayfield for a couple of nights.

Anyone familiar with the area have any trails they can recommend for getting some mud on the truck?

Whats up yall. Recently (a year ago) transplanted from bama to central IL for work. The Taco following is pretty light around me now, but i heard yall sometimes except outsiders. Pic of my rig and her tagalong.

I haven't been able to make any of the group trips yet, but the guys on here are great!

 

Thank you. Ill check that one out as well. I used to do alot of group trips with the Bama boys. But i work every sat and most sundays now. My only off days are Mon and Tues, not alot goin on those days. So i just pack the wife and kids up and head out every now and then lol. Just like to keep up with all the happenings going on in the area.

 

We love showing new people around! There's a Tigerton camping/wheeling trip coming up in August, if you're interested. Bayfield camping and shenanigans in October.

I went back through the same trail we all went through in June this past Friday. I took a different line in the spot where I got hung up last time and walked up the whole thing no problem.

Also, my buddy's Ranger made it up, although he did get hung up a little bit. A little adjustment and a little bump and he got through on his own (aside from my shitty spotting).

 

That looks fun. James I found a couple of new area's to run but the first one is more or less just Gravel Rd cruising ! Not my thing but y'all may enjoy it. Barron WI. ORV . the second is west of Smokey Rd about a hour or so . I still haven't checked this one out but I will when I get home from Colorado. Leaving today, youngest and future Son in law have a house out by Holbrook lake. There are some nice trails out there also, but that's another time. Oh just so I don't forget the trail I'll be checking out when I get back also has campsites on it . I'm thinking the whole trail is around 15 miles with a 2/3 mile loop off of and back to main trail.

 

Barron is near my cabin in Chetek. Didn’t even know there was anything like that up there and learned of two just this week! Apple Valley is the other. I’ll have to ponder these for future excursions.

 

I'll be the sacrificial lamb this year and jinx our forecast for Tigerton in August. Then again it wouldn't be a TW event if it didn't rain at least a little.
