Here’s a picture, the muffler isn’t too big, but I did add a vibrant resonator to it. Even still, it is very very loud when you get on it haha. Sound deadener is definitely moving up the list! I may go with dynamat this time to save some weight. I used Kilmat last time and it worked well but was heavy.

Ah, I didn't know there was an appreciable weight difference between dynamat and kilmat. Good to know!

I expect at the pace you displayed with your other trucks recent engine work and replacement that those cams should be installed and the turbo fabbed up by sometime next week? :D

Lol this build will be a bit slower! Hoping to enjoy this one a little more since it’s not the daily driver. Question for you, did they send your valve springs in the same box as your cams? I think mine were left out..

They came in a separate box and delivery from the cams so they are probably still enroute to you. Both of mine went to the wrong house and were around a week apart when delivered.

Here is my turbo cam profile, to compare. I like the note that they stated about turbo size.

Thanks for this info. Looks like mine might be a good bit less aggressive, so hopefully I won’t be grinding on the cylinder heads for clearance as much.

That's what I am hoping as well. Saves a lot of work.

Bravo sir! I am still super impressed with how my old ones look brand new. Is that how yours turned out? The picture won't do the clarity justice.

Yes they turned out quite nice. The passenger light was quite a bit worse than the driver side and they both turned out looking almost new. I was kinda worried with how foggy they looked after wet sanding, but those ceramic wipes pack a punch and brought them right back

Another quick update, installed a @Coupe battery tie down a couple of months ago. It goes great with the aluminum sc reservoir- I can’t recommend his products enough, very nice quality stuff!

    Sir,
I have a set of 12-15 OEM headlights from the 15 I sold that have a little “Fogging” on the top. I purchased new OEM headlights without bulbs or bulb clips (much cheaper & I did put in some used bulbs) I know you’re happy with sanding and coating. Being Dad was an auto body man and painter I believe in painting the headlights. The new set I purchased I had an “eye lid” painted body color painted on the top then peeled off the fine line tape to clear the whole headlight. I can sand/prep the headlights (the painter will just need to tape off the rubber seal and wipe with grease & wax remover before painting) or send them to you like they are if you want them. Just cover the shipping and they are yours.

Test fit some All-Pro sliders tonight. Fitment is spot on, so I’ll be pulling them back off and priming and painting them over the next few days. SOS lowering kit will coming off pretty soon too. Plan is to go back to stock height or maybe a 1-2” lift up front

    Sir,
With ALL DUE respect powder coating is far superior! IDK who or what you have in your neck of the woods but powder coating should also be cheaper unless you’re using rattle can…

Powder coating would be more durable, but these will be getting the spray can treatment so I can touch them up easily later on when needed.

Looks like the weight is sucking that truck down closer to the bump stops.

No doubt, she has become more of a heavy pig lately. Just wait until the steel plate bumper goes on the front. Probably going to be riding on the bumps at that point:D
