FOX 2.5 STOCK HEIGHT

    how do i get these to stock height!!!!! tacoma 2014 4x4 double cab, i want the stock height and i can find no info on where to adjust the threads for that

    You need to use a proper spring compressor like a branick 7400 (which is what i use at my shop) as the spring rate is quite high and a typical rental will be very sketchy.

    Once you have proper compression of the spring you will need to undo the allen key and turn the upper collar to reduce preload. 5 threads is about 1/2" lift.

    With al of that information, these shocks typically wont run at stock height. maybe 1" of lift at a bare minimum. you will need to utilize a different shock is you are trying to go stock height as most aftermarket coilovers are meant to be utilized with some lift. if you go stock height the ride will be very sloppy due to lack of preload.

    The image below nets about 2" of lift.

    I weekly compress springs as high as 800 (ironman) with the SPC spring compressors and the cheaper ones from Amazon all the time with no issues. The SPC ones have nice rubber boots that protect the springs from scratches.

    I'll Prob get a branick down the road for my garage bc it is a nice tool though.
