STicker isn't coming off, but

I realized I should do a full paint correction across the whole truck one of these days. Swirls aren't the worst, but it's my DD and I typically do a clay/one-step twice a year.
I tried getting an old sticker off the front quarter panel today but it won't budge. Tried plastic razor blades, wetsanding....nothing. It's on there for good lol. But I think the sticker polished up nicely, if it means anything

Orange pad>Megs 105/205 combo then some Jescar Ultra Lock Plus to seal it up.

Smokey and cloudy today so the flash images will have to do for comparison....

 

Did you try putting wd40 on the sticker?

 

It didn't even cross my mind. I'll give it a shot today though.

 

I have also used cooking oil, letting it sit for several hours then come back and it has helped remove old stickers.

 

Yeah. Just soak a cotton ball down and you can be precise on just getting on the sticker. Soak the sticker good and let it sit on there. Keep us posted.

 

gonna need to apply some heat to remove that sticker

start with a hair dryer, and use extra caution if you step up to a heat gun

 

After trying all the goops in my garage, I used one of these to remove 15 year old stickers from my wife's car.

It took a little bit of pressure and made a mess, but once it was cleaned up and polished you couldn't even see where they were.
