Someone not me please pick up where 02hilux left off and decrypt the remainder of this modern-day Rosetta Stone.

I feel that the meaning of life and other juicy nuggets are buried in there somewhere.

Will be standing by for enlightenment. Thanks.

I got nothing to offer after seeing one of the longest paragraphs ever. So I shared this with 6 of my smartest friends for their insights.

    Their responses follow.....

    Hol up. Lemme try....

    Gentlemen:

My Tacoma has not met my initial expectations.

    I purchased a 2.7 Tacoma 4x4 . The interior was nearly mint-condition.

Yet, to my shagrin, I later discovered that the frame, bed, and almost everything else on it were in very poor condition.

I have spent much of my free time and extra money rebuilding this truck.

I removed everything aft of the cab. Honestly, I did! The truck sat for 8 months in my garage in this state -- just a cab and frame, with no bed.

I noticed that there was quite a large amount of rust and numerous holes running down the length of the frame. I purchased some metal plating and spent many hours capping the old frame.
I made a plentitude of cuts with an angle grinder and a cutoff wheel.

But, ultimately, I took it to a frame specialist and

Damn it! It's too big of a job for a mere mortal. I give up. :annoyed:

Here is the question: bad shake on startup and po171 code, any suggestions on how to fix?

Cat has been removed, planning to bypass O2 sensor next.

    Well that means lean condition.

The engine computer requires valid data to adjust fuel trims.

Is it truly lean or is it getting bad data?

in my case the front sensor Air/Fuel tripped thePO171 code . Also the 2 sensor codes as well PO135 and PO130

The ECM not being able to get any data.

Replaced the Front Air Fuel sensor all the codes cleared.

Should be interesting with No signal unless it is generated by cheating rather then fixing things correct.
