Especially on days like this. I was down at the Fife tide flats for this shot. My favorite view besides the Sunrise loop is on 410 going into Bonney Lake. Even the city advertises that view…

I don't miss it but I sure remember waking up in my barracks room and seeing it through the window. I was stationed at Ft Lewis from mid '82 to Dec '83...I've never seen so much rain.

Does anyone here have any experience with a tailgate lock for a 1st generation? With winter being around the corner I want something to secure the back so nobody steals anything on shopping days. My topper locks but the hatch doesn't come over the tailgate all that much.

I was at McChord from '95-'13. I'd swear it took a year for the webbing in my feet to dry out. :rain:

Incidentally, I just realized the 4th of July will be the 10 yr anniversary since I pull out of my driveway in Puyallup.

I used to have one of these Pop-n-locks on my truck. It worked for several years until I was trying to open it near the end of a road rally with too much stuff inside the bed and the plastic latch broke under the strain.

It’s is said that in Seattle we don’t sunburn we rust. This year the rain was incessant. Though the weather patterns are changing…haha every 15 minutes or so.

So does it work with the stock latch or replaces the stock latch? The one for the 1st gen looks a little different.

It replaces the stock latch. Uses your truck's door key.

A little of this and a little of that.
    :hattip:Good morning

Oh yeah, happy wife, happy life. New Bosch dishwasher is quiet and the dishes are clean. Wife is pleased with the new machine.

    :oldglory:

Great pictures Mark! I’ve worked some TDY at SEA-TAC and certainly have to say that the area has beautiful geography. Mt. Rainier is spectacular. It didn’t matter what time of year, you had to pack for all 4 seasons…o_O

    Fantastic!

Dammit. Don’t like it when the dogs are sick. Hopefully their stomachs settled down and you were able to get some rest Ms. Susan.
