Found two bookers locally for $120 but not sure it’s worth pulling the trigger on considering I wasn’t as much of a fan of the last one I got.

Got a new local store in my little town with some special release Ardbegs and Octomore 13.3 that I've never seen before! Prices aren't horrible. Ardbeg Corry is about $40 too much but I already have a bottle.
I'd love to get the Hypernova and Bizarrebq.
I left with a bottle of High Wire smoked Jimmy red corn bourbon instead. It's absolutely delicious! Been on more of a bourbon kick anyways.

    Not much stock left.
I’d love to get my hands on that Jameson 12. I used to drink it like it was kool-aide. Haven’t seen it on a shelf in years.

Taking a moment to look at this photo again, it’s quite the collection. Lots of desirable gems, virtually every bottle.

This is a great double oaked bottle. I did a side by side with Woodford Double Oak, two different bottles of course, but I really like this Peerless over the Woodford. Smoother, balanced oakiness and that extra 18 points of proof, you know they are there but not hot. I never knew just how much oak WR brought until I did this side by side.

Wow, I'll never see those Ardbegs near me. Hope you're able to grab one sometime!

See I wasn't completely full of it. Pic from a few nights ago.

Last night I pulled from a 22yo Glen Grant sherry cask finished 57.3 abv. Camped outside of Jackson where I managed to overpay for a Larceny B523, but hey, got 'em.

    PXL_20230703_025721310.jpg

Today I'm set up back in Idaho outside of Victor. The family is meeting me tomorrow to camp out for a mountain fireworks show, so tonight is my last "drinking" night save for one heavy hitter sample I'm saving for the 4th, because 'Murica. Tonight brings a special sample from across the pond and I can wait to dig in later this evening.

Use to drink MM often, then went away from it. This is the second pour from this BEP edition. Maker’s does a really nice job with their stuff!

Before the family gets to camp tomorrow and I can't sit down to watch a movie, I had to keep the tradition alive of watching Independence Day for the 4th. With it I opened a 29yo GlenDronach 110.8 proof. Hot damn. This is Scotch. It's crazy how much this glass has changed as I get to the bottom of it. Cheers gents!

I have. I got it out of curiosity. A few friends and I all had a small pour to see what turns into bourbon. It went back on the shelf after that lol. It was neat to try though. Cheers.

I've not tried the BT version, but I've bought a few white whiskeys from other distilleries I've visited. It's really just legal moonshine.
