I'd die! Idk. I just remember her dad had come to the wreck and kept telling me he's an insurance agent and I just kept thinking that it was not gonna do shit for him since she totaled 2 vehicles?! Not sure what she's driving. Just hope she's paying better attention LOL

Ok so I think it’s about time to look into a new weed eater. Mine is a 1994 ryobi and she’s been beyond perfect. She took a rough trailer ride when her strap broke and bounced around and won’t start now. I can replace the carb again and tinker till she runs, but it’s also an excuse to try something new. On bad days I can run it for about an hour or so straight in tall crap that bogs it down sometimes. Maybe burn through a tank or so. Have any of y’all switched to electric and actually been happy with it?

I went to a Mikita electric. I'm not overly impressed. It's OK but the batteries don't last very long.

Ive got a Stihl FS90r and a Greenworks 80v electric i use for work. I reach for the Stihl everytime. The electric is underwhelming during hard extended use.

Gracias. Guess that answers that! Time to start messing with the carbs again and see what’s up. I probably would have kept it and fixed it anyways. This ol girl has done some work for us.

Just bought this, already invested in team red. Don’t expect much from it but for that price I can’t go wrong.

I have a Stihl FSA 60 R electric that works really well. Also have hedger and small chainsaw that use the same batteries.

But I have some property on which I use gas model Stihl trimmer that Ive had since 2009.

So gas or electric I'd recommend Stihl.

I have a Stihl FS90R and I’ll grab my dewalt over it every single time. It’s lighter and has plenty of run time. No fooling around with gas or a carb that’s not tuned correctly, etc. plus I have six 5ah batteries so I can run it for hours if I really wanted to.

for light duty homeowner use electric is 100% the way to go.

I keep my Stihl around for edging since dewalt doesn’t make one (yet).

if you end up staying with gas take a hard look at the Stihl Kombi system.

Got the Dewalt Flex Volt weed eater, works fine for my acre. Grabbed the Harbor Freight Atlas 40v hedge trimmer and pole saw for less than a tool only for team yellow, they also do fine for us.
