Looks amazing! Careful with adjusting the ball joints on the SPCs. Typically you pick what extra degree of caster you want (like +3.5), set that and then do all the rest with the LCA cams. I have found if you shift the ball joints in any the steel arm itself can (depending on your wheels/tires) contact the tires at hard turn. Not really worth adjusting up there if you dont really need to.

so just set them all the way out? on what letter setting? we are at about 2.5" of lift and want the tire as far forward as possible

Yes that would be my suggestion.

To get the tire further forward you may want to try a lower caster setting when you bolt in the ball joint...most all of us use the D setting (which is zero as the arms have added caster built in), but you could go a little less and still gain some caster with the LCAs

Maybe that is what you meant by shop willing to adjust - I was meaning sliding the balljoint side to side in the arm, but they could disassemble it and try the other hard caster settings by rotating the joint per the instructions.

Whereabouts do you live in New England? I know of an off road shop in Granby MA that does alignments with the SPC's.

The shop is "Built for the East" Adam (the owner) is usually very busy but if you give him a call, let him know about your build and the situation, he might be able to fit you in for a quick alignment.

    Yeah.
Just caught this thread. I kept wanting to skip ahead to the end, but glad I didn't. Such an awesome build! You and your dad did great work, impressive skills. Good luck on your test!

Awesome build, just saw this morning and had to read the whole thing, apparently I found it at exactly the right time, lol.

Looks great; it's always a shame the end product doesn't show the amount of work and skill that went into the build, but you two will always know.

Make sure you save the photos somewhere offline, too, so you can look back later on.

This is the rubber that my dad had, it about 1/8" thick, and has a textured side:

Just caught up on this, super rad build! I wish I caught it sooner, there's a shop in Hudson NH I used for my spc's that did a fantastic job but it seems like Adam took care of you guys so all's well that ends well :)
