A little field modification to the Caliraised Molle panel. Bent the top mounting points 90 degrees to slide in under the topper, so the panel is pressed up against the bed rail and not the fibreglass topper. 20230703_131154.jpg 20230703_131218.jpg

I've run Sharptones alongside the trumpet horn on my old F150 - they're aggressive sounding but also very directional. I picked the trumpets because they're a lot louder off axis to my ears.

I got them from harbor freights so they are the Pittsburgh brand they carry. They sound much stronger than the OEM ones. I also ended up using a pre-made wire harness from Amazon.

iJDMTOY 12V Horn Wiring Harness Relay Kit Compatible With Car Truck Grille Mount Blast Tone Horns (Actual Horn Not Included) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00XM107FC

The reviews say that the harness is good but the relay sucks. The horns already come with a relay so just that. You will also need to replace the 25amp fuse for a 15 amp fuse like the horns ask for. You will also have to cut off the end pieces that go to your OEM connection and connect a loop and a spade to get it to connect.

Received a honeycomb grill insert that I bought off @RVA

Hopefully I’ll have time to slap it on tomorrow. I’ll have to repaint the grill surround in the near future because mine is in bad shape

That's 18ga wire, at five feet long it's carrying capacity is about 15a. I doubt those horns pull more than 6a a piece. So 15a is plenty safe to swap in.

Real easy in mine. I only removed the 2 front pillars which is really easy. The light just pulls out. Twist the cloths hangars and sun visor clips. It falls right out.

    Keeping it running
Picked up a free hitch from u/deanosaurus Sunday and then started to get it cleaned up Tuesday evening. Hoping to clean up the surface rust a bit and then put a coat of paint to protect it a bit. I need to get the hardware to get it mounted on the truck but that can wait. Thank you again u/deanosaurus !D14F43CD-64A7-47D7-9A6F-F24ABE38DD33.jpgBF325C43-BD50-43D9-BE99-F16E2761C3D4.jpg
