And why is this not a rite of passage for all Tacoma owners?

    I plan to.. some day.

I wouldn't get my hopes up about Tacoma WA. I haven't been there in 10 years but back then, it wasn't a great place to put it nicely. Back then I considered Seattle's north side to be "Safe" but not anymore. I can't imagine what it's like now.

I took my tacoma through a drive through in Tacoma to buy tacos in 2018. It felt like the right thing to do.

Our Canadian Tacoma has been through Tacoma several times, it's a nice place in spite of the comments. The Museum of Glass is an amazing place to visit, our boys spent a whole day making glass art there, and watching world class artisans at work.
It's a working town , port city, home of the great Niko Case , musician / songwriter, etc gateway to the Olympic peninsula, stunningly beautiful, good food and restaurants , had my rocker arms redone for an old Explorer there.
We spent a lot of time in Portland 15 -20 years ago, not anxious to return there ,,,, shall we talk San Fran ??

Daughter & her fiancé at the time, lived in Tacoma, WA and were married there in April 2015.

This was 6 years before I bought my Sport.

They've since moved to Delaware in 2020.

It would be cool to drive my 2021 Tacoma TRD Sport in Tacoma, WA but I'm not making that trek like my daughter & SIL did!

Summited Rainer a couple times... highly recommend. As far as Tacoma goes lock your doors and don't make eye contact.

    The aroma of Tacoma.

yep, been there done that, multiple times.

Go to Mt. Rainier (google it and see the actual namesake) and save yourself the heartache of the actually city.
