Getting ready to install a new lift kit, modest 1” lift.
Any advice or tips tricks? It’s going on a 3rd gen Tacoma.

I have the kit on order and all the basic tools you would find around a garage.

Pretty straightforward. Pop a beer, some music, and take your time.

Should be straight forward, what kit did you order? don't say spacer lift.
Pry bars, impact, sockets, ratchet, wrenches, hammer and pry bars good to go.

I got the Bilstein 6112/5160 with RXT leaf springs. Not looking for anything crazy but at 100k miles this is a good refresh.

Any recommendations of “while I’m in there”?

When I did mine I put on rear leaf axle shims I think 3 degree they also came with new center bolts, helps reduce vibration from the driveline angles associated with the lift. longer U Bolts for the leafs if you dont have them already, cut off the excess with a grinder.
    Grease your U-Joints
Longer Rear Brake lines Not necessary but they tend to stretch when both sides are at full droop like when on a lift. this is on my list to do.
inspect all the suspension components, bushings, torn boots on the Ball joints, sway bar links etc, at 100k you should be good, everything should be fine.

Depending on when your last service was.. you might was well do some new brake pads and tie rods.
