My 1st gen Tacoma extra cab sr5 is 2 inches higher in the rear. I want it level. Should I get a 2 inch leveling lift kit for the front? Or drop the back 2 inches?

Street truck, lower it, I'd only go an inch so you still have some travel when you have load.

    Anymore pics to share?

Thanks. Yeah definitely a street truck. I drive on dirt roads every now and then but nothing extreme.
Problem with lowering its more expensive.
    Here another pic:

I like the 5 lugs. I would love to have a 2nd street taco like that- I say leave it as it looks great!

Why is the truck not level ? Are all springs in good condition? If not I would attend to the deficiencies and leave the cosmetics for later.

If lowering just the rear you should just need a 1" block and ubolts. On 5lug 2wd's the axle should sit on top of the leaf spring.

And her front springs could be shot. It’s a 20 YO truck.

Put a couple hundred lbs in the bed and you'll be close enough.

Level is a visual goal that has no functional benefit, regardless of how you get there.

Lowered performance vehicles are corner weighted, and may not only not wind up 'level', but with different measurements on each corner.
