Everything I've seen gives the OTT tunes nothing but good reviews.

I'd like to know if anyone has ever had a bad experience with it?

Not a bad experience per se, but I went back to my stock tune after giving it a try. I'm supercharged with a TRD tune and tried the remote tuning option. Wanted to have the fueling cleaned up a bit and firm up the shifts and explained that's all I was looking for. First file I received was a mess. Throttle mapping was crazy aggressive and the transmission shift points had me screaming at ~3000rpm while putting along through slow speed neighborhoods. No big deal, just have them to change it to a less aggressive setting. Grabbed a few logs and sent them back, explained that I wanted the stock throttle mapping and just a mild transmission tune. Received another tune with less aggressive throttle but not stock like I requested and the transmission tune was still a little wonky. My wideband AFR wasn't showing any significant changes either. Kinda got the vibe that they were making the truck "feel" faster through the throttle mapping and transmission tuning. Went back to my stock file and loved how it was in comparison. Also, I prefer to have access to my trucks tune through my HP Tuner for any future adjustments. Totally understand the reasoning behind locking it, just my preference.

To be fair, they were working to get my truck where I wanted it to be and if I kept logging and requesting changes that I wanted, I'm sure they would have met those requests eventually. I just decided that if I wanted to really tune my truck, I would get it done on a dyno so I could verify the improvements. Again, not trying to give any kind of bad review. They were decently responsive to emails and all and many people enjoy their work, just wasn't my thing.
