Veterinarian recommendations?

This forum is helpful in more than just trucks. I just got a 7 week old schnauzer as of yesterday. Does anyone have veterinarian recommendations? I'm in Norwalk CA. I would like to complete his shots and ideally get a long term vet for all future check ups.

If there anything TW takes seriously, it’s our pets.

 

I know this is a little further than you're probably looking for, but I've taken my dog to Seal Beach Animal Hospital. We like the vet there, got all her vax, and spayed there. I have friends who also take their dogs there as well.

 

Also might be a bit far from you but we have taken all our pets to Placentia Veterinary Clinic. They are awesome and their fees are reasonable.

 

We've had pretty good luck with Lakewood Pet Vet.

 

Far for you, but Sharp DVM in N. Hollywood is the best I've ever been to, and my family has been going there for 60 years (practice was taken over by the Son). Very reasonable and I really like how they're very conservative with animal care.

Whatever you do STAY AWAY from VCA or VCA-affiliated Vet Clinics; VCA is large chain of Vet Clinics that has bought up hundreds of mom 'n pop clinics all-over the Country, but mainly they're in S. Calif ... They're the Jiffy Lube of Veterinary care.

They're mills to just churn you as a revenue stream and will charge your Credit Card very high fees BEFORE any service, based on estimate only.

Dr. Debbie Hu @ Banfield vet hospital in Monrovia would be my recommendation.

I also would recommend NOT going to Temple City Animal Hospital!!!
