just 33’s…any tips on cutting? Do I cut just the plastic? What about what’s behind that? I see the metal pinch weld.

    With a -38 you'll need a cmc I barely cleared on a 0 offset and 285's.

Cut the plastic, hammer the metal. Rinse and repeat until the rubbing goes away.

If you plan on off-roading you will want/need a CMC as well.

JBA UCA, 4" front/3"rear. .75" Boras spacers, CMC, pinchweld, and some plastic cutting. Still rub a little at fulllock on passenger. I might do a CMR later on.

    Toyo's measures about 33.3" mounted 30psi. Unmounted 34".

I did it. Went 315s yesterday. My config is 315/75/16, JBA Ucas, SCS F5 -28 3.5 backspace, CMC

As expected im rubbing in some spots. Cab mount, lower fender and UCAs are very close. I'll do the cab mount relocate, thats been sitting in my garage for awhile.

I'll most likely do a full fender trim. I've been looking at the C4 kit. Looks like the best option for getting fender liners done. Any thoughts?

For UCAs, im not sure. Mights leave em for now. I need to see if they rub offroad. Is SPC still the best option for pushing the tire max forward?

Whats a good labor rate for cab mount relocation? About how many hours job for a skilled guy?

I run a similar setup, I trimmed my fenders and went with Fend-x liners. I also have the SPCs but they arent the only game in town as JD fab sells ucas that are castered already.

Depends where you are. I did mine myself and it was a pain in the ass. My buddy had it done by a guy that charged about $550 labor. That's SoCal pricing though.

Honestly most cab mount chops went for $250. It’s about a hour job if all they are doing is the cab mounts.

Cab mount chop and cab mount relocation are completely different jobs. A chop is WAY easier.

I misread his comment. Yes I would expect to pay more for a relo. I would guess 2-3 hour job.

You think my harbor freight 125amp easy flux is adequate for welding cab mounts?

The base plate on the DRT mounts is 3/16 so I think you’re at the edge of the welder capability.
