Burlington Vermont authorized KDMAX tuner

Hey @JDSmith I am interested in getting a tune. However, I am planning to install a suspension lift and new wheels and tires in the spring, but since I am doing it myself, the timing is a bit unknow. But I would like to get the tune done prior to a summer trip in July. How far out would I need to schedule an appointment? Also, does it matter if I add a front bumper later after getting a tune?

Thank you Eric for stopping by with your 18 OR! He was unhappy with the constant gear hunting and lack of low end performance. Tuned his truck with 9.0 normal throttle, tested it out and ended up switching to the Lite setting. Enjoy the tune and thank you again!

 

Long time friend stopped by with his 21 4Runner. We’d installed his Prinsu rack a couple months ago and will be doing a lift and tires soon. He wanted his truck to perform at its best, especially when those bigger tires go on! We put him on the 9.0 Normal setting and he’s incredibly happy with it! Kaleb stopped by with his 18 Quicksand after getting 35’s installed. We put him on the 9.0 tune with Normal throttle and now his truck is performing like it should! Thanks for stopping by Kaleb and I had a blast talking fishing and Tacomas!

Kyle stopped by looking for more performance out of his 18 4Runner after going to 33’s. Smoother shifting, increased low to mid range torque and up 2 MPG’s! Thanks Kyle!

 

Eddie brought his truck over for a Wescott lift, 33’s and tune on his 2020 Pro. Plenty of power to turn those bigger tires, smooth shifting and a report of 23 MPG’s when he got home! It’s an absolute blast to drive! Enjoy the truck!

 

Highly recommend @JDSmith to anyone thinking about getting the KDMax tune! Great service and very helpful in explaining the whole process. He let me try out the lite tune and test drive my truck and switched me to normal after I wanted some more power. I'll be going back to have him up my alternator voltage once I get around to switching to an AGM battery.

The KDMax-Pro Tuning Group is proud to announce an updated, improved KDMax-Pro tune!

This release is the result of extensive testing and monitoring by our group (and some customers trucks) over the last few months.

We also were able to Dyno test a customer's truck to compare KDMax-Pro-10.0 and the Toyota stock tune. (Dyno pulls done in 4th gear).

Jesse hooked me up yesterday with a tune and great conversation. I bought a '23 SR5 AT and was experiencing some buyers remorse considering how poorly it drove. The tune was a game changer--pedal feel, gear hunting, power up hills, etc. If you're on the fence, don't hesitate any longer!
