Which sensor is this/what is this sensor for?

    Hey there,

    Some time while moving engine block, sensor got smashed . . .Looks like it may be the knock sensor? Any one know which one it is?

    Looking for some feedback

    Okays, feels like.

    To clarify, if this helps, the oil filter is on the other side of the engine block--if gives s better picture of where it's located.

    One of the coolant sensors or an oil pressure switch if I were to guess

    Don't guess, find out. Look at the illustration blow-ups of the engine to be sure. Pick a dealer, go to its website, and look for "Engine Parts". Better yet, just call your friendly dealer and ask for help at the Service Department. Five minutes and you'll have your part number and will be done.

    Partsouq.com is great too.

    They have basically every parts diagram for every Toyota I've looked up thus far. Then you can click the part you're looking for (in the diagram), and it gives you part number, name, and price (you can order from them too, and their prices are solid).
