wow, those look good (though a bit larger in diameter than the stock 14's). Are they mustang rims, maybe you could tell people a bit more about them so they know what you did.?

235/45-17 on 17x8 2013 Mustang rims. I used the 70.6/67.1 center-bore adaptor and "bulge acorn" lug nuts (NOT the mag style lug nuts). Rides great at stock height, no rubbing, steering response is much better. I will update with the 3"/3" DJM lowering kit is installed.

Yeah, they came off a mustang.I wasn’t out looking for wheels this big, but went to my local Pick-a-part and those were sitting there with $300 on them. I really couldn’t pass on them. As far as what I did for fitment, nothing. Jacked it up took the dinky 14’s off slapped those on and took off. Don’t rub anywhere, I am at stock height, with wore out 363k mile shocks all around lol.

Amazon and eBay are full of caps like this for sale.
    You just need the size.

So I wanted to go to a 17 for brake upgrade reasons. Here's what I've got....2006 GT wheels with 245/45r17 cheap tires (were on there when I got the wheels). Then I got these decals off eBay to cover the center caps. No rings, spacers or anything.

    Upgraded shocks.
I might be having an issue with Mustang GT wheels rubbing on the ABS wire on the drivers side. It’s rubbed in half and the ABS light is on permanently. Ive only had the truck 2 weeks so still sorting it out. I wonder if spacers would prevent the rubbing? Or repositioning the wire? When I find a safe place to Jack it up and look closer I’ll figure it out.

keep us posted, hopefully you can zip-tie the wire out of the way. I still haven't mounted the mustang rims in front as i haven't lowered mine yet. After lowering, i will get an alignment and hopefully my ABS wire won't rub...

I did search on splicing ABS wires and it turns out they are not as voltage sensitive as I thought. They can be spliced, lengthened, shortened as long as the resistance isn't changed much which it shouldn’t if you are lowering your truck a few inches.

Well! Took me a coupla' minutes to find this thread - 1st gen five lug Wheels ...

My 95.5 came with the wheels in the pic.... Chevy 17" from something'er other. While I don't mind them too much (kinda' garish...) the chrome plating is coming off in places with a lot of corrosion. One wheel has corrosion on the inside around the valve stem - and it leaks air. Nice.

I wanna' stick with the 17" size and those Mustang Bullits are crazy good lookin' IMO.

I'll be hitten' the wrecking yards, me thinks!
    Thanks, Tikibutt

What is the wheel spec and tires size that you are running? I looked up 2009 mustang wheel specs, they ran several different sizes.

    thx
