Hope everyone is doing well, appreciate the help in advance.

Stock 2023 Tacoma Offroad. 14k miles. Sees a lot of dirt roads and logging roads, gotta love Maine.

Developed a small metallic squeak recently, very loud over small bumps. low speed

    I've already
    - hosed down the leaf springs
-checked the spare tire and chain
    - checked heat shields.

I have a cat shield and am currently waiting for them to send out the bit as the dealer didn't provide me with one.

Does anyone else have any recommendations on what to check or to torque?

Go back and shake the exhaust hard at 2 or 3 different spots. I had a heat shield bolt rust apart and everything looked OK until I shook it hard. A stainless muffler clamp fixed the problem. No more squeak.

If coming from the front, could be body mounts. They have a metal on metal squaking sound. Mine failed with at 7000 miles.

I had a similar sound coming from my metal skid plate that wasn’t fully fastened after an oil change

Make sure your factory bed cover “clicks twice” on each side, one click leaves it loose and it produces a rattle that can sometimes sound like it’s coming from the dashboard

I'm not sure what you mean but if it's the factory hard bed folding tonneau cover then check the one bolt on the pass. side. Make sure its tight as if it's loose it will sound like a squeaky leaf spring when driving.

Feel your pain. All I can suggest is double check your payload, accessories etc. More than once I was chasing a squeak only to find it being something like coaster thing in the bottom of the cupholder or some random stuff rubbing together in the RR door panel storage compartment. Oh, and once funnel and ratchet strap inside the little bed storage compartment
