Hey everyone, I know probably a subject beat to death but most of the talk is about TSS issues. I might touch on that, but I have another question first.

Looking at my 2023 TRD Off-Road grille I notice the camera is below the logo at the bottom of the grille and in a relatively, "flat" orientation. When you switch to the TRD Pro Grille (planning to use the Westcott Designs relocation bracket) the camera moves up I dunno maybe 8" and seems much more angled down. Does this difference in angle alone compensate for the relocation such that the bounding boxes and other off-road camera features work without needing some sort of recalibration? I have my doubts that dealer techs are taping out lines on the floor and then moving things around in some sort of software to realign that, "picture". If anything I imagine (in Audi terms we call it coding) there's a coding specific to the TRD Pro style grille and the non Pro grille that you ought to be able to adjust with software (Techstream I guess it's called in Toyota land)?

Other question is about the TSS itself. I'm using an OEM grille and OEM garnish, will moving the sensor down cause issues? As I see it the thing fires out a cone of RADAR energy and is either using time of flight and possibly doppler to determine the distance to objects and how fast they're closing in or moving away. Moving that sensor downward a few inches seems like it would slightly alter the angle of that cone but I have my doubts it's so directional that it's going to mess everything up. It's not like it's a laser beam and I doubt it's synthetic aperture RADAR such that it has extreme directivity. That said I see tons of people who have issues, but that's usually after 2.5~3" of lift and/or using non OEM grille and garnish.
