Whatever you can afford and feel comfortable with.

    On my 2002, you'd find:

    FRONT -
Brembo Rotors paired with Akebono Pads

    REAR -
    OEM drums and shoes

Remains to be seen I bought the tires and wheels the rest came along
Have you swapped disc brakes to your rear axle??

You would need the brake pads for the parts you used.

I only ask because I did some of these over the years. Brake pads might really be needed.

To avoid problems, always use Genuine Toyota Parts when buying brake shoes.

There are no rear pads. Only shoes.

So are you looking for front pads, rear shoes or both?
