    So...
She's not wanting to use insurance to cover my fuck up cause it will probably definitely increase our rates (have I mentioned my severe hatred for all things insurance?). So...I told her that (since you're scared to use it) tomorrow I'm calling every insurance company we have (cars, house, fucking medical) and I'm dropping all of them to the bare minimum coverage, even less if possible. No more full coverage horseshit for our vehicles. Whats the purpose? I figure if we're too chickenshit to use it then we might as well have the cheapest shit available.

File a claim and get everything fixed and if your insurance company raises your rates then drop them and get insurance through another company.

The policy might not even cover "flood" or water damage anyways. There's some fine print somewhere.

I get that, but other companies look at prior claims and either refuse you or charge out the ass.

Hell, it goes up if you never use it.

I’ve had to use mine and it didn’t go up. Might be worth asking the question.:notsure:

    CAUTION!

Some insurance companies will raise the rates just for an inquiry!

I'm not a very smart person, but I've been around the block a couple times on insurance stuff.

I think that is a good idea. I always tell my kids to ask the questions to the people who have the answers, don’t assume or accept answers from people if that’s not their area of expertise.

Life lesson right there, folks! ⬆️
