I was looking at the TEC calander and noticed September is like a ghost town.
Last year 2022 sept 24 weekend a bunch of TEC members were at Vmuts and we had a good time.
I'm curious to see if anyone wants to do a sept 24 weekend at Vmuts this year also.
personally I love the place I've been up there Twice so far this year. Getting my moneys worth out of my yearly pass I guess.

this is not a sign up for vmuts its just to guage interest if anyone would be interested. thanks guys.. and gals.. and pets.. including cats.. :)

For thoes who have not been there before hear is a link.

When you click on the ABS/VSC/TRAC code, what does it tell you? My wife (Toyota repair team member) says it's likely a bad sensor. Or does that wire break go to a sensor?

    Edit: Read further... never mind...

I can confirm you can throw a belt on a third gen and have it run. I can also confirm you’ll have a massive spinning weapon in the engine bay, and also no cooling.

Does anyone have a dead oem alternator kicking around? Curious as to what the bearing numbers are on it. Thinking about doing a bearing replace on mine instead of the whole unit.

Anyone know what sized breather hoses exist in the engine bay? Just piecing together a few ways to make a decent breather kit that would work and what makes most sense. there are like 2 dozen breathers in the engine bay (2 by the batter) 1 big boy hafway down the engine bay, another 2 for the transmission case)

@Norilsk just has what looks like fuel line hoses running up by the airbox which makes the entire thing look like a bundle of flowers.

100% accurate photo taken by me or Norilsk's truck engine bay as of 2 days ago.:
    upload_2023-7-9_21-2-42.png

Alternatively there is the NPT hose way which is basically this setup: but pretty sure the plastic will melt
5/16" Barb x 1/4" NPT (for connecting to existing breather hose and the NPT line)
1/4" press in NPT press in fittings (for both the barb fitting above and the manifold)
1/4" NPT hose (pretty sure 10m is super good enough)
1/4" NPT plugs (to plug any un-used slots in the manifold)
1/2" NPT plugs (to plug one of the two 1/2" manifold inlets)
7 way manifold (to "centralize" the entire thing, and because more holes = better. y'know speed holes)
1/2" compressor intake (dont even think this will work)
    upload_2023-7-9_21-10-3.png

or save $2 and buy the ARB kit like a real human being.

The flower bundle fuel hose will be cheaper overall but where are all of the overland points with that?

The 2 transfer case hoses are 1/8".

I’m so thrilled with this cap it’s unreal. Thank you @WorstCaseOntario for selling it to me haha. Have already put 800km on the truck in the day I’ve had it setup.

Just made an oopsie by ordering my new wheels and tires off partsengine.ca

I read around on here and no one had bad experiences but right after my order they informed me the tires are not actually in stock and they have no idea how long it will be until they are in stock. I asked about a refund and they also did not know how long a refund would take.

looking at other reviews it looks like this is common practice to sell stuff that is out of stock and then wait 1+ month to refund.

I should have done more research into who I was buying with... valuable lesson I learned the hard way. I guess I will have to wait longer than expected for my 33's :(

I must have missed your post.
I have had a bad experience with partsengine. They sent me a package of bolts and when I asked for the bed bars they said it's not what I ordered. Pointed them to there ad with pictures. There reply was we're sorry. And yes 1 month later I get a refund after sending back there bolts.

I don't like them there no at Good at website and suck after the sale.

If the ad shows them in stock or the invoice doesn't say out of stock, you can do a charge back with your credit card company assuming that's how you paid. They'll get it done quickly and the seller will not have fun. Nothing takes more than a few business days to process. Anything else is bullshit. Make sure you don't wait more than 30 days or you'll have no recourse.
