My old seats, back panel, and rear center storage box are in my attic. Probably will put them up for free on TW when I do spring cleaning next year.

Yeah, I'd say that it seems like just a way to bypass a faulty cigarette lighter connector. That being said, the connection is very tight, and I don't see it coming loose, although I do wonder why they'd use a straight plug rather than 90-degree. If I determine it does work well when camping, I'm thinking that I'll get a 90-degree plug of the same size (Jackery CS just vaguely refers to it as a 6mm plug, and didn't provide information on the middle post diameter) and then make a custom refrigerator cord with it.

Yep. Speaking of which, @Dometic, are there any plans to update your wireless refrigerator monitoring software so that the app will notify the user when the connection is lost? (Or maybe that already is a feature, and I just don't see it in the options?)

I just got a call back from Jackery support.
The 100w solar panel will max at 75w input on the Jackery 500. It is the charge controller that determines that based on amps. Thats why the wall charger will display 87(?) watts when charging.

Let us know. 90 degree would be great.
Although the input is still sticking out straight.

I hope it’s not 87. I’m getting 150 on EcoFlow from solar and alternator at the same time which is too low

While suggestions are being made. I'd like to re-suggest an addition to the App as well. It would be nice to see when the compressor is operating too. The front panel has a DOT that lights up brightly when the compressor is on, the App does not have this feature.

Thanks for suggesting this. I'm not in touch with the app developers directly, but I've sent this and the suggestion from @essjay along to a member of the CFX3 product team.

Again, thanks for the app feedback. We appreciate it!

    just a few things.
Do you guys sell an extended power cable for the car charger? Trying to connect to cigarette lighter in front. Or can it be plugged into the power outlet in the rear of the gx460?

Ideally, you'll want a hardwire kit that directly connects your battery to the cooler. Unfortunately, we've found that OEM wiring, especially in Toyota products, will have a significant voltage drop to power outlets throughout the vehicle. A direct wire solution is usually best, as these voltage drops will trip the cooler's battery protection circuitry with a false positive.

Today is the last day of our sale, but our DC Hardwire Kit is 20% off right now.

    I hope this helps!

@kingk0ng I’m using the Dometic power kit quoted in my GX460 and have it running directly to the battery. Easy install and the kit is really high quality and fused at both ends. Plus you get the threaded plug so you don’t have to worry about anything coming loose. It’s really the only option if you want constant power (or a similar modification).

@Dometic i am having trouble with the DC connector on my GZ yeti 1500x. I want to use the Dc rather than Ac bc the draw down seems slower. But I cannot keep a consistent connection with the Dc lighter plug and the GZ lighter receiver. If I twist is and move the cord connecting to the prongs to the lighter plug compression nut it will connect and run but if jostled it will not stay connected. Do you have an Anderson Power port option or better more reliable connection I can use on the DC ports of the GZ yeti 1500x?
    Thanks for the help.

Use one of these… when I had a yeti 1000 in the back, this is what I used.

Thanks for the recommendation. I’ll try but the “X” have regulation built in. Nevertheless it might be a better connection

Could also try this? A bit long but I'm sure it can be found in a shorter length.

This might work since they aren't playing nice with each other (the dometic plug and the GZ socket). Having a different plug might be the ticket.

We’ve heard of this issue with Goal Zeros before. If I recall correctly, the center pin of the DC cable doesn’t make contact with the backside of the outlet to complete the circuit and power the cooler. Unfortunately, we don’t offer any alternative power cables, but I recommend getting a short DC cable extension with a different DC cable tip that makes better contact with the back of the DC port. Alternatively, you can modify the DC cable and install a new tip, but this would be at your own risk.

@Dometic , I just bought a new cfx3 45 and took it on a 3-day trip. Great fridge and it worked well with my goalzero 500x.

Only issue I had is that the "door open alert" comes on after about 3 minutes and stays on. I'm 100% sure the door isn't open. It's frustrating given what I paid for it and I'd hate to send it back for just an alert when it seems everything else works fine.

Is there a quick fix for this?

    I have a 45 also.
    Not aware of that feature.
Did you ensure that the lid "clicks" when closed?

Yep, I’m 100% sure the lid is closing, clicks, is latched, etc…. It’s something to do with the sensor.
The Alarm appears on the unit as a yellow band at the bottom of the display and also appears in the app.

@RGRJoe Yup, just verified. Left my unit door open just a bit (1/8") and there was no alarm. Opened it up to where the door bottom was above the opening where you can actually see inside, and the alarm came up on both the unit display and the App. Did not try any intermediary positions of the lid.

At this point it seems to be a magnetic switch due to the distance I had to open the door to get the alarm to activate.

    Try these:
Put a magnet just below the inside box latch and the light should turn on and off. If it does not, a problem with the sensor I would suspect. I'm thinking this function could be part of the lamp assembly.
Next try to find the magnet on the lid with another magnet - mine was close to the rubber seal.

    Good luck.
